oil drain plug size?
hey guys,
can anyone tell me whats the size of the oil drain plug bolt?
im trying to install an oil temp gauge, and the box came with a 1/8th replacement.
obviously it didnt fit, im thinking its something around a 3/4th in?

should be 12mm x 1.5 or 1.75 iirc. if you are handy with a drill, drill the drain plug with a 21/64th bit and tap it to 1/8 npt. or visit a hydraulics shop and get a weld bung take off the pan and do it right.

12mm? the closest wrench i got to the plug was 17mm (i believe 16mm since 17mm was still a little loose)
i forgot to mention its a 99' b16a (SiR II)
i tried checking with the manual but it didnt give a size...
edit: haha srry bout that i was thinking about the head size, im going to try and find an adapter before i try drilling, thx boosted
