Re: Oil burning.
Is it burning oil (out the exhaust) or is it leaking from somewhere in the engine bay? You have to de-grease the engine. Then let it run and see where it is coming from.
Common places are:
-Distributor gasket
-Valve cover
-Valve cover bolts
-Cam seal
-Oil pan gasket
-Rear main seal (inbetween engine/tranny)
-Spark plug grommets (pull the plug wires and see if the tops of the plugs are wet)

Re: Oil burning.
It's leaking from under the car onto the exhaust? Or the top of the exhaust manifold? If under the car I would guess it's the oil pan gasket. Clean it all up and report back.
