HAHAHA ive NEVER heard of Ohlins making any suspension parts for a civic, yet a car.. they are the best suspension that you can buy for any motorcycle and usally cost upwards of 2-3k for new front forks and rear shock absorber.. i know this for a fact cause i ride a motorcycle and know a good deal about them.. did you know that all ducati's come stock w/ ohlins suspension? thats why ducati's are so much damn money..

http://www.ohlins.com is the website to be then..
i didnt see anything for a honda s2k on there site but if they have it they have it.. i guess they do make some suspension parts for some cars, mostly race cars and stuff.. nothin that will not cost less than an arm and a leg.. in motorcycle parts, ohlins is considered pretty much the best that you can get and it does cost $$ for it..

Re: Ohlins Suspension (beeboyee)
Like you said Ohlins has been making products for motorcycles for years. I remember reading about suspension parts for Rally race cars awhile back. Nice stuff..

damn, 95CivicEX you need to chill out and give the guy a break.
Ohlins has been making suspensions for honda for years, maybe a decade by now.
They are serious **** too, mostly available outside of the U.S. which is why "95CivicEX" has probably never seen or heard of them for civics.
The pics above are proof they are available, just gotta look for them. sick stuff and not cheap...

Re: Ohlins Suspension (Nate)
I received this email today:
We are anxiously awaiting the "Japanese" Öhlins dampers to be approved for US
distribution. Before they can be sold here the damping settings must be
changed and the mounting brackets need to be reconfigured to fit US spec
cars. Then they are off to the European TUV (much like the US DOT) for
highway approval. Next in line is the availability of spare parts, service
and mounting instructions. Add to these delays, the fact that the Honda Civic
is not the most popular car in Europe, and you can see that the Mitsubishi's,
Subaru's, Peugot's, BMW's, etc. are first in line.
It is a long and legal (someties frustrating) process.
We don't expect the Honda Civic set-up to be available for another 6 months
or so. The price for a complete set of two way adjustable dampers will
probably be close to $1800.00.
Thank you for your interest,
Doug Voegeli

Re: Ohlins Suspension (navin)
I used to run them on my EG (had two different sets),
they are perch adjustable (u & d), 32way stiffness/rebound adjustment, full aluminium body, recharageble and rebuildable = much better then Tein HAs in many ways, but slightly pricey
btw. they make them for EG/EK/DC and even Odyssey, Accord and Prelude

Christian where did you get yours????someone in Canada??? they look like my old shocks....

Re: Ohlins Suspension (eg6ajk)
Hey Adrian,
Did you get my email last week? Any luck with my mini wish list?
Nah, I am getting the Ohlins from a friend in California. How did this suspension hold up for daily driving? Is the softest setting very severe?
