What kind of press did you use to press them out??

My 20 ton wouldn't budge the bushings.

Garbage freight 20 ton for the strut bushings. I used a socket the same size as the outer metal collar but just smaller than the bore.

Have to melt the rubber out of the ones for the subframe and cut the metal collars and peel them out. Ive used the same "burn and cut" technique for other stubborn bushings before though. GL

That is the same press I have. I cranked down as hard as I could and nothing.

I ended up doing the burn/cut method, after I got tired of dealing with the press.

My hatch is being nice to me, especially since it sat in a field for 3 years. I did have to cut out a rear strut bolt and a toe adjusting nut has to be replaced too.
I guess it's time to break out the welder.

I went through 3 cans of PB blaster over a 3 week period just saturating it a couple times a day. When I finally went to replace em, they came right out lol.

Both links in your sig are dead. Is the hatch pictured a '92? It appears the paint is PBGP?

Started cleaning out the interior of my eg, going to clean up some dirt from the plastics. Also changed the oil, and in the process replaced my oil pan gasket.

Also FINALLY finished the sanding on the inside of the hatch. Ready for weld in cage, and paint next.

Looks great Deetz

I picked up an RSX-S muffler yesterday, hoping to quiet down the H2Beast! The Flowmaster Dbx is not nearly as quiet as the Flowmaster rep said it would be. I've got a 28" Magnaflow 4" round muffler, an 18" vibrant resonator, AND the Flowmaster Dbx and the car is still "loud." What I'm trying to kill is that highway drone.

With two mufflers, a cat, and a resonator there shouldn't be ANY drone. Drives me nuts. Tired of spending money trying to get this exhaust the way I want it. Hoping this does the trick.
