Default On/Off Ticking Noise

ok so hears the deal i have this ticking noise that is more noticable on the driver side while im driving. originally i thought i just needed a valve lash adjustment, so i had my friend put them all back to spec (he put it to the high side of spec due to an issue with the tool)

the noise seemed to have got a little bit better, but its definatley still there. when i drive my car harder it seems to make the car less noticable even when i slow down and am in low RPMs but then i will let off the gas and you will hear the ticking noise.

it gets faster the faster you go, cant really tell if its with the speed or with the rpms, because it will be there some times then other times not. and like i said i can hear it while im driving, but if i was to sit the passenger seat i would hardley notice it at all.

any one have any suggestions?

you might have a rocker arm sticking or a bad spring could be the cause, but motors will always tick a lil due to metal being slammed togather at 1000's of rotations per min, so you could be hearing normal valve lash or like i said you could have a bad rocker or valve spring, never know but are you sure you spec'ed it right?

ya im well aware of the honda tick, this is different though. i try'd searching the car to find what was making the noise but came up short handed. i used a stethoscope and could not hear the noise that i hear while im driving. i did notice the header had a nice dent in an odd spot tho don't think that would cause ticking tho
