Default Is this OEM rear lip?

I thought I had found one on ebay after two years of looking. Its for my EBP Si. He said it was indeed oem, and he had a good user rating, so I bought, but it just don't seem to line up; the exhaust hole looks too wide. So am I just an idiot or is this truly OEM rear lip?

No, that is not an oem rear lip for a 99 si, just take a look at my cardomain website and you can see a pic of my rear bumper.

the ways that you know it's OEM:

1) It has "HONDA" stamped on the inside of the lip
2) It comes with brackets and bolts to bolt to the back bumper which means the lip will have holes on the bottom
3) That can't be an OEM lip because that exhaust cutout is way too big

My friend has a '99 MR SI with OEM rear lip...thats the reason I know

look for the words Honda on the back side and maybe a part number. Is it made of the same material as your front lip or is it abs plastic?

thats what I thought! No it does not say Honda anywhere, and it looks like it would hang too low off of my car. Anyone ever seen this before? Thanks for all your help

I was watching that same lip on Ebay also, I still have it on my watched auctions http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT. You said he had good feedback? The reason I didn't bid was because the lip didn't look right and he had negative feedback .

That looks nothing like my OEM replica rear lip on my '99 SiR. The OEM one looks more rounded and less angular/squarish if you know what I mean. I took a look at the auction - it could be that you're confusing the OEM rear lip with a Civic Type-R lip coz the lip in the auction looks like a Type-R lip to me.

well he had ok feedback, I usually don't trust anyone with less than 90%. I would say sorry I outbid you, but I guess now you are glad.
