For some reason one ball joint is missing the spiral ring clip that holds the boot on. You can reuse one from one of the old ball joints your replacing if you do it carefully. I'm just not sure if it's an OEM balljoint or not. If you pull the boot off and take a pic I can tell you for sure.

Koni Orange has no adjustment capability, and is basically a Yellow set to full soft.

That's an OEM balljoint, the boot was just on too far the spiral retainer was missing. Just carefully remove one from one of the old ball joints.
Moog makes absolute **** ball joints, actually let me rephrase that, Moog reboxes absolute **** ball joints, they don't actually make much of anything. Even the cheap house brands are usually made better than Moog. I have yet to see anything outlast an OEM Honda ball joint.

Re: OEM lower ball joints - Which one is which?
I bought TRW ball joints for my civic. Not installed yet. Of note, they do not have the cir-clip all the other aftermarket ball joints do.
From my research, off roaders say TRW makes quality ball joints. While all others fail in their 4x4 trucks, the TRW's last.
They were more costly than the Sankei 555's but still cheaper than going to the dealer here in Canada.
I suspect they may be close to OEM. Even designed like OEM without that clip, just press fit.
Time will tell once installed.

It's pressed in there, it takes a lot of force to get one to move. Honda has been using that design for decades and I've never seen one move yet.

I figure if I'm shelling out 250 a side, I might as well shell out 250 USD for the Truhart upper control arm set with Hard Race Bushings and Hard Race heavy duty ball joint.

Re: OEM lower ball joints - Which one is which?
Never realized the OEM S04's don't use a cir-clip. I have 2 out in the garage and can confirm they look exactly like the ones pictured. If you thinking about it, the force of the spring pushing downward on the lower arm and the wheel pushing upward on the knuckle....there really is no need for a cir-clip.
BTW: I can also confirm Moog is just re-branded stuff. Both my sealed-in-box CRX upper arms, drop-shipped straight from Moog (via SummitRacing), were covered with Three-555-Five emblems.

Incorrect.
Summit simply substituted the the 555 brand.
I worked in the autoparts business for many years.
Moog is Moog and nothing else.

So Moog does sell Upper ball joints for civics, and you CAN do it. I did.
Now, here's my thing. Yes, it's a very tight fit, and there is a C clip also. my issue is the C clip does not fit how I would like it to. It may that is just how it is, I'm not sure.
