Default OBDI vs OBDII question

What are the advantages of an OBDI system vs an OBDII system? Is it worthwhile to swap over if you don't have to deal with any inspections or emissions tests?

yes, OBDI is easier to work with to, plus it omits a few sensors that can become a pain whenever your upgrading parts or swaps... but you dont need to swap all your harnesses if thats what your thinking (like dash or engine harness, no need to swap)... the easy way is investing in a nice and good OBDII to OBD1 jumper harness and of course an OBDI ECU for your engine....

I'd like to do away with the cat but I don't want the CEL that comes along with it.
