o2 sensor problem, wrong connector?? 2000 civic ex(ej8) w/ b16
I have a cel on for the primary o2 sensor. I have a 2000 civic ex w/ a b16 sir2 swap. As I understand it, the primary o2 is the one before the cat. I ordered one for my car, but the connectors do not match. The one that i ordered has a male end and the car also has a male end, it doesnt make sense to me. Did i buy the wrong sensor? Both are 4 wire sensors, or am I supposed to be replacing the other o2 sensor?

The D16Y8 and B16A2 have the same connectors according to the Helms. Sounds like you got O2 sensor for a D16Y7 or D16Y5. Call the place or go back to the shop and get the right one.
