i have a 93 vx, code 41/48. when i hit about 3500 to 4000 rpms it like sputters/staggers for a second then goes just fine. what can be the cause of this? could it be just the o2 sensor? there isnt anything disconected, everything is running fine, just this stagger is anoying! help please!!

yes it can if the sensor is faulty enough.

the bung is the same size. as long as you get the O2 sensor for you car, or the car the motor is from (if the motor has been swapped) then you will be fine.
my suggestion to you is, buy the socket for O2 sensors, makes the job alittle easier. also let the car cool down for awhile (atleast 2-3 hours), spray some wd-40 and let it soak.

no. try to stick to what you have. you can go with a universal one which is alittle cheaper, but consists of you having to splice and re-wire. then there is the one made specific for you vehicle, which is alittle more than the universal one, but is a plug n play and give a cleaner factory look.
