Default Noise when i let go of the clutch

Hey i have had a noise from the engine every since i had the car when i let go of the clutch, it very little and i never took any notice to it, but I have always wonder what it was and maybe after reading a little it might be a transmission input shaft bearing
and i dont know exactly what that is and if it cost a lot to fix, if anyone has some input it would be great thanks

It can also be your throw out bearing, but i highly doubt that. My guess is towards the Input shaft bearing. My guess is to buy a new throw out bearing and input shaft bearing so you dont have to take the tranny apart twice like i did! It was hell. Good luck bro!

if your noise happens when the clutch is not engaged then its your release bearing. when its engaged its your pilot bearing. its your pilot bearing and no it wouldn't mess up your tranny it might not get into gears smooth after awhile. but will lead to future problems. changing the part is easy. it was hard for me putting it back on since i only have a jack.
