No power thru the car

Default No power thru the car

today I was trying to change my alternator but I forgot to unplug battery and it sparked and after some time of installing my alternator, no power. But the hazards and brake lights work. Pls help.

Check fuses.

I did,just that I got one 25 amp one but I don’t have a spare one so I have to wait till tomorrow. I also had like 2 10 amps ones but I replaced those but did nothing

you don't know what fuse location you replaced? j

It's going to be one of the big main fuses in the underhood box that screw down.

I said to check fuses, not change them all. Get a test light. Sheesh...

How can one simple thing turn into such a headache for some people?
pen, paper.
pull fuse out, one by one
Hold up to light, blown? Y, N
Take note how many blown, what amp, which location

run to store
buy
replace

turns out it was the ignition fuse under the box, starts up now, thanks guys!
