I don't think you want FUEL comming to your OIL filter....do you ?
..Ummm...you mean Fuel filter ?
You should be able to electronically test the pump and relay. Someone else here will know...

If you aren't going to post a solution then get out of the thread and dont bother posting in the first place.

It seems as if the Main relay may have dry joints. I had the same problem, I located the main relay (under bonnet lever), encased in a grey holder. Unscrew, and then re-solder the dry joints. Since i have done this no problems what so ever. It was embarrasing ending up at the fuel pump to wait 15mins before i could start the engine up.

What exactly is the problem? Fuel pump not priming or something? Did you check your grounds?

def. your main relay my 92 hatch did the samething. she would die while driving and id sit around and wait 15 min and she would all of a sudden fire up and run like normal. Get a new main relay.

If you dont know where it is... its on the driver side down and further left than the fuse box. If you lay down and look under (asssuming you lay down and the gas pedal is to your left and clutch pedal to your right) Look at the fuse box and slowly look down a bit more and right more you should see a grey cap over a brown relay. The grey cap usually has white writing on the top. Thats the main relay.

How do you know its a fuel problem? Have you checked for spark? Have you checked your plugs, do they have fuel on them? And disconnect one of your fuel lines and check compression in the line, preferably the feed line, to see where your problem lies. I hope this helps.

it was difficult to read that with absolutely no punctuation but.... I dont understand what you mean by the oil comes up, do you mean your oil pressure comes up? What is the correlation between your fuel problem and the oil you are mentioning?
