IMO i think air is for suv's or trucks, not for civics at all.I look at it this way if you can fit dubs on it and drive around normally you should put bags(air) on it.But like I said that IMO.

My goodness...who brought this thing back up from the dead?

Creasian, I sent your receipt out long ago...

If you didn't get it, IM me. I'll send it out with a tracking # if I have to.

build the civic to race

Buy a fast car to race... Not a civic. So do what ever you want to a civic.

i think it would be tight dude but, a friend of mine had a truck that was baged and he went out and got it all done right but no one would tow it because of the bags, and if one blew he was pretty much F*cked. but i do belive with air rods you can only go down so far and this might not even be far enough to bottom out go for dude

why not get hydraulics, sure the batteries and the pumps will weigh you down but if your planning on air i hoope you dont plan on racing , so you should make it extra pimp and reinforce everything and hop it......seems like hydraulics are less of a pain in the ***,...........

haha i remember at nopi nationals last september this guy with hydraulics on his caddy tried to drop over the curb to get back onto the road ( everyone was parking in the grass) sideways and his rear differencial got stuck on the curb, he tried to hop off it but his **** was stuck , so me and like 4 or 5 other guys lifted his *** off the curb and got him onto the street ....... he started hoppin up and down , it was cool

nopi was badass that night on the way back to atl, anyone witness that craziness?
the stretch chameolion limo with hydros , and that peice of **** chrystler that spit 6 foot flames out the back haah it was great cant wait till this years

dude just keep normal stuff on the car....I use to have a truck and let me tell you that my air suspension was nothing but problems... Id hate to see the kind of problems it would create on a little civic...yeah it looks good, but you will regret the problems you will have.... on trucks... on cars....

I haven't really heard much on air systems and I don't really care for them (not my bag of tea). But you could try http://www.airliftcompany.com

I've had hydraulics in the past

Have you ever been in a car with them? It's really not very streetable at all....especially at high speeds.

Reason being, there's literally no rebound in the suspension. So when you hit a bump, instead of smoothly going over it, the car literally HOPS over it...like being on a trailer.

Have you ever seen how non-suspended trailers bounce over the road? Same with hydraulics....

Besides, the cylinders leak oil everywhere, there's no place to put all the batteries, and it's CONSTANT non stop rebuilding/monitoring.

Another thing, it's way too complicated/expensive to reinforce unibody cars for full fledged 'posing' of switches...something you don't really have to worry about with bags.

I had a '78 Cutlass with a Hi Lo setup, 10 switches...14" cylinders out back (thing would get up HIGH), with some 10" skinnys up front.

It was pretty cool till it got stolen...then my Honda career started

For anybody wondering, I'm no longer even considering air suspension for my daily driven Civic...I've got an h22 swap going on, and a full GSR suspension etc.

I am putting bags on a truck though

I use to have bags. I am all race now(all metal car no, ac you get my piont). When I had it it was okay. I f you don't have leaks it is cool. If you do it sucks. I never could get rid of my leaks for some reason. If I fixed one I would get another. I used to have an 97 ex(thats what the bags were on) It was fun, some days I miss it, but for the most part I don't. Just my 2cents, it is beter on trucks. Don't get 3/8 lines get 1/2. Under heavy loads it sucks. I was using 150psi, if i had 5 in the car it was way slower(up and down)

If u have questions just i.m. me. I did it all myself. Back in the day before there was kits. I fabed. all mine. Good Luck
