no exhaust on a d15b
when i was putting on my new exhaust, i decided to rip around a few times with no exhaust after the headers, a friend yelled at me cause i can "suck a valve"... wtf? i can understand running no headers but i thought there would be no problem running no exhaust with stock headers... lack of back pressure? hell yea but i dont think it could cause damage... Discuss!

umm how old was this friend is he a mechanic? i have never ever heard of such a prob. if so, then how do ppl run open downpipes on turbo cars and nothing happens? i think ur friend is not correct about this but i could b wrong
