looks exactly like my friends crx... his whole body is basically one big piece... only piece that actually is not part of the body is the hood... everything is molded together... its a race-car though

at least you show others that you are able to do it yourself .. rather then get a shop to do it .... 99% of ricer out there pay to get their car riced out ....

Integra body work looks kinda poor. Is the wide body all bondo, looks like its cracking off the car? Since your doin the body work yourself, much props. You learn frm your mistakes, yah know...

Heres a pic of my friends wide body teg.... He has Racing Hart M5's 19X9 or something now though.

Uh, yea. You need a widebody because??...............................

Oh right, to fit those 18x10 wheels on your FWD.

Waste of $$, you could've been fast instead.

I don't really dig the fener flares all that much, I like the Feels style fenders better if you wanna go to something wider. But I'm not flamin your work, good job and keep at it. Can't wait to see it finished.

you are right im sure we would probably never mount big slicks under there but some reason we just like the wide look...the feelz wide i already had on a previous hatch then my 4 door teg i had teh 4 dr civic kit on it(which my brother just ran into a dithc and braoke my sides off) so we wanted to try something diff for us..probably someoen out there has somethin similar but we wanted to do it on our own....teh car wont be goin krazze fast or anything just low 14s to 13s and well be more then happy...

i don't understand that whole widebody thing, especially on the rear wheels.

isn't the idea to have room for thick rubber to get more traction in drag launches? if so, then why the rear? afaik, integs are FWD cars, making fat rear rubber kind of useless/counterproductive due to their rotational inertia and drag?

you lose some driveability, w/ that widebody style action, especially if you put wheels in there to fill the fender. they'll be heavier and create more drag as the contact to the road is increased, at the same time providing you with no benefit.

that's just right off the top of my head.

Those low 14's to 13's could have been 12's to 11's - all the bondo, steel, fiberglass, etc........

Hey, to each their own I suppose.

Good luck with your project.

very good point there i could be hitting low 13s or maybe even 12s..i would really like that.....the extra weight came out to be about 5-8 lbs a peice im guessin maybe not even that badd its basically all fiberglass ..we laide fiberglass down then sprayed this foam like thing over it to create thickness tehn fiberglass it..put some bondo over it but it basically was to cover up teh lumps n stuff...when we was done sanding it was down to mostly fiberglass...it is actually lighter and stronger then thought it would be....cars gonna be a daily driven car basically to and from work nothing more then that every now and then jsut rev it high....nnothin liek tryin to take corners or anything likee that....its more of a show car then weekend drag or road race but as to all teh response ive gotten not many ppl are into the wide thingy...nwo the thing is tryin to find a good siez wheel and style to go in there....any ideas anyone??
