First things is first, what is your goal for the car and what is your budget.
Read through the FAQs here, https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faqs-frequently-asked-tech-questions-1998336/
Realize you should invest in quality parts and not ebay junk knock offs.
Do a full tune up before any mods, cahnge the oil and make sure all maintenance is up to date, including the timing belt/water pump.

Vague question is really vague. I'm sure with more than 20 years worth of modified Hondas you could have found something on the internet before you posted this?

Honestly these kind of questions come up all the time... just read the FAQ that was posted above and you'll find answers to all of this.

I would highly recommend taking your car to Hamza's tuning ! he can get you car to run 8's .
In all seriousness save for a swap or save for boosting your d16.

It's an HX. That means D16Y5. OP, don't waste your time or money on bolt-ons. Your motor is made to be a gas mileage champion, and bolt-ons will give you next to zero benefit, and could hurt your mileage. Do a tune-up, that's it.
