I have an EG-SI Beater.
now, a Dilemma with suspension, Rims and Tires problems..
the car got 145K miles, the suspension is tired...
anyway...this car ended up as my Main Transportation everywhere..
and I think, wouldn't it be nice if it handles better, have good brake grips, and be able to use my 15 inch rims/tires from my 5 lug ITRs..
at the same time, part of me saying that I shouldn't put more $ into a beater..

5 Lugs Conversion gonna cost me $1200 plus installation..
new rotor, brake pads, shock, spring, 15 inch rims steelies might be $800..

to those who did the 5 lugs.. do you think it really makes a big difference?
I don't care for the Bling2 Factor..

I don't think 5 lug will make a difference in handling by itself, and $1200 is a little pricey. www.passwordjdm.com has entire ITR 5 lug suspensions for $999. The sway bars and stiffer springs included in the suspension would help with the handling. Its a tough call whether or not to sink money into a beater, I would do it if it was in very good condition.
