What's the story on these? Any good?

Anyone have any dealing with these things?

I've only heard terrible things about these. On the other hand I've only heard great things about Koni/Ground Control, but I don't have any personal experience with either.

Hmm, there are only so many manufactures in the world making struts and shocks.

Is the valving wrong or short on design or something?

I know what I saw in other threads, but nothing was substantiated by anyone with experience or credentials.

Still wondering.

i own the just springs coil overs and i love them just as much as my old eibach ground control coil overs on my last hatch

They are ****, I know from experience. I had DZ's on my accord and they were absolutely horrible. I tried my damndest to get rid of them but ended up selling the whole car instead. I also know 2 or 3 people that have had similar shitty experiences with them, and one of those guys had a real problem with springs sagging over time. Dropzone=**** IMO.

if i were you, i would get a good set of shocks (illuminas, koni, etc) and get dropzone coil sleeves. believe me, its a good *** combo. i vouch for DZ coil sleeves day in and day out. i have illuminas, DZ coils, f/r strut bars, Suspension Tech rear sway/tie bar combo and my car handles . . . . amazing! this is all on 14" steelies and azenis too.
