I just purchased a '93 Del Sol SI that has a completely stock D16Z6 except for intake and exhaust upgrades (I think) and since this is my 1st VTEC (my 1st import in general) I have a couple questions that I hope to get answered.
1. What RPM does the VTEC kick in?
2. The previous owner said the timing belt has been done (looks like it has) but there doesn't seem to be a timing belt cover. Do these motors have a exposed timing belt, if not should I be worried that it is?
3. Is there anything on these cars that goes out that I should look for
If there is anything else I should know about these cars I would really appreciate it. All the info on my car should be in my signature

watch out for the targa or T-top weather stripping, they go bad and leak...bad. My Si del sol had a Vtec and it kicked in around 4 rpms
