New member looking to do a Z1 vx transplant
Ive been lurking for a while and this is a awsome forum and as of today im a member.
I have found lots of great informaiton I hope one day i can add to it. In the meanwhile if any one has any tool/jeep issues I am willing to help.
my buddy is blessing me with his 95 civic dx in disrepair.
I am normaly a big engine / jeep guy however I currenlty drive over 80 miles round trip to work and the wrangler is just not cutting it for fuel ecom
My plan is to work on the driveablity issues first and then swap in a z1 / vx motor and trans.
I always devise a plan and vison with any of my rides. Im thinking I wold like to see Rally inspired civic in the drive way.
I am a accomplished aircraft and auto mechanic.
I am planning to start assemblying parts for the z1 conversion.
From what I have read all the 5 spds are the same. but the vx had differnt final drive ratios correct.
As far as the conversion a p07 computer and harness will be all thats needed.
