Default New to HT! ***PICS ADDED***

What's up all! I'm new to HT, however, am not new to Honda's or forums so I'll make sure to search before I post questions if I need any assistance . I just purchased a 99 Civic Coupe EX w/ 115,000 miles on it. The body is in rough shape but it runs great (and why wouldn't it, it's a Honda ). Along with a running chassis it came with a bare LS block that is in desperate need of being werked

Plans:
Get it resprayed the red it is now with some much needed TLC and build up the LS/Vtec N/A and then Auto X the **** out of it!

I will post up some before/current pics of the ride when I get some later this week and yes I know this thread is worthless without pics

I actually prefer the way it looks now to the way it looked before my buddy owned it. He bought the car from his ex-girlfriend, when she owned it the car had a ghey *** body-kit, wing, and 17's on it sitting on stock suspension . He then striped it and put the JDM front conversion on it (only to hit a deer 2 days later ). So now I have a CF hood hanging on my wall and a jacked up front bumper that's on the car right now.

I'm going to get it resprayed (courtesy my father who's the Body Shop Manager for the local Honda dealership) and leave it as is for the winter. Come spring I'll throw some Si's on it that my buddy isn't using anymore and drop it :D

I'm going to try and build up the LS/V as much I can over the winter. It's going to be built with all OE parts to keep it cheaper and cause that's how i roll . I want to at least get the longblock built, it's going to be an Auto X car so I may werk the suspension before installing the engine so I have some kind of footprint to work on to see what time differences I get from the swap.

We'll see how she unfolds, it'll be fun thats for sure

Well, the start was when my buddy swapped the dumb-*** body kit with the JDM front end conversion before hitting a deer
