I just wanted to say hi and I am looking forward to spending what time here I can !
I have a 93 eg hatch. Currently have a b 16a
I am unsure of a few things...
1... I need a 5 sp hydro tranny any idea which ones will work?
2... I also need what I believe us called a t tranny bracket... The one in the rear... Any idea which is the right one.. What vehicle would this need to come from?
3... I also need a engine wireharness The car had the ones that comes out by shock towers. Any idea what harness I would need and what vehicles. Would have the right harness ?
I am new to the Honda thing and learning slowly here. Any help would be appreciated Also if anyone knows where I could find these or know of someone who has them... Thanks!!!

That is exactly what I have been asking myself for the last week!
I am unsure I picked up a b16a. New rebuild 2600 mi. Has scat rods and pistons supposeably. Aem timing gears clutchmaster lightened flywheel, a new stage 3 clutch on the way. And a dc dented header The head has gasketmatched port on intake side, as well as intake. And a chipped p28 ecu Thats what i knowSo I ask what do I do with this? Obviously I want to get this going and not sure what else I need...

So it's NOT running? Just trying to understand why you need to do all the things you listed off.

No long story. Was in car running kid took it out then I got the shell. Later
I got the engine only from him. Now I want to put it back in and get it going. I know I need the things listed previously but not sure what else The vtec wires are already run to the ECM is my understanding

dont get a b16 trans, it will kill ur mpg's. get a gsr or ls trans. and if u need a wiring harness, your best bet is an obd1 b16 or gsr harness. u can use a single cam civic ex harness but wires have to be extended, jus buy the b series obd1 harness to save aggravation. and the t bracket u need is from a 94-01 dc integra. keep us posted

The head I believe is an 89. The block I am not sure where the #s
Are other than b16a and serial # staring with1
The trans I am hearing a 94-00 integra ls or gsr but not sure how to identify them for sure
So will the b series harness plug into my eg hatch? I have heard find a d series duck harness so it will plug in. This is all new to me and somewhat confusing I am old!!! Lol
The t bracket from a 94-01 integra b series? Also was told to find one from a 92- delsol b series?

94-01 integra all have b series so yes, and yes u could also use the bracket from a del sol vtec model, forgot bout that one. u could also use the harness from the del sol vtec models that have the same wiring as you, also i mentioned a d series harness from a 92-95 civic ex and extend wires, but if you cant do that just use one from the del sol vtec or a 94-95 gsr. lastly, the only way to identify a trans is by vin, cracking it open to look at internals, or putting it in the car drive on the eway to 70 mph and observe what the rpms are. but that last option is if you have alot of time/money/patience

Well i got a gsr tranny and a harness from a 93 del sol d15b7 engine i do have a few plugs i am unsure of as my haynes book lists for civics and integras but not del sol A ny one know the color codes for tps map air bypass air temp colors or know of a diagram online? As some of these plugs are the same. Thanks in advance. And how do u post pics from ur phone? I may have a few...
