my gsr had alot of problems, had rust, messed up idle problem that the guy said ended up being a bad tb, the head needed resurface from what he said cause it was leaking oil, and I guess one of the motor mounts snapped off the block right after we traded, also it was salvaged, this ej8 is mint plus i needed the mpg for college

I would have told him straight up considering your GSR had Blades on it. Those rims with tires are worth 400-500 dollars.

I wouldnt of traded just for the fact that its a 2000 and you had a pre 96 but it definitely looks SWEET. What motor is in the ex I suspect stock if your getting 40+. The power difference would of been to much for me also.

ill list all they have done, gsr had act clutch/pp, fidanza flywheel, prothane mounts, greddy ti-c catback, and wraped dc header, all mods done by me , civic has skunk 2 struts, skunk2 springs, skunk2 camber kits front and back, skunk2 tiebars, b&m short shifter, mugen style lips, jdm style fogs, black housing headlights, 15% tint, si wheels, si grill, si wing, b16 ecu? might replace it for stock, header, aremotive exhaust, and gauge pod on the cluster, think that sums it up, might have forgot a few things, my plans are to go b18 or b16 after college, maby boost

hmmm.. local yard has those rims for 75 each - didn't know they were the SI's.

How much do you think they usually go for?

and hey - don't dog the y8!

said he got the si rims for 600 for the set, if you can get them for 75 ea then get them before someone els does! not to dog on the d series but there pretty much useless unless you want to boost it haha, b series the way to go, way more potential, d series is good power if your on a budget but only if you boost it imo, just my 2 cents

not too bad for the trade...your going to hate that y8 though bro, i've been living with mine for 4 years and hate it. I really dont care about the great mpg i get on it, the lack of power really puts me down

dog the D all you want, I was just playing, I will need an engine soon anyways, and it may be a B if I have some extra cashflow -

Got my first civic only a few months ago and im totally happy with my 2900 dollar purchase - might see if them wheels are still in stock, shitty thing was, there were only 3 of them.

edit: you do got a clean ride, it looks like what mine should look like - but I am far from it. all except the spoiler, don't think I am a fan of them.

Looks like a pretty clean civic. Just one question, has the front clip (fenders, hood and bumper) been re-painted? It looks as if the paint dousn't match up? Either way, still a good looking coupe!
