Default New Drop NOt Enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!Argg

WHy!
I bought the eibach sportline performance lowering springs along with some new struts. I installed them mostly for the look. There was way too much wheel gap. My car is a 92 CX hatch and is bone stock with stock wheels and tires. I installed the struts/springs and the car was lower, but it still sat a little high in the front. My friend with a hatch JUST like mine, did the same drop tonight and bam! His car is more than an inch lower in the fron than mine, and MINE HAVE SETTLED! What is the deal! Same car, same tires, same springs, same struts, but his is lower. I can not think of ANY reason why this happened, and as far as i know these cars should be the same. My friends rag on me because my car is from up north, and they say that the original owner must have opted for the high jacker suspension for geting through snow. That is not funny.

It looks like my car is rear wheel drive and is launching, in other words my rear lowered just fine, but the front is jacked up. I feel like I got ripped. Any ideas on what went wrong?

Needed to vent.

Well, when we installed them I was sure that the numbers on the front springs had a "F" in it and "R" for the rear.

Question, CAn they be switched? If i have them on wrong i will ****. I just need to know if they can actually be put on wrong.(front and rear swapped)

I figured that they would only fit the right way, or not fit at all.

help

Make sure that the springs are sitting properly. Make sure that the springs are centered and that they sit flush with the top where they meet the car. Also, maybe your bump stop is in the way. I highly doubt that, but I'm throwing out some possibilities without even seeing your car. Good luck.

Are you sure they settled already? If you just got them, I would say it's too soon for them to settle already. I have Eibach Prokits on my hatch which gives less of a drop than the sportlines and after having the setup for about a year, it's settled a lot. I barely have any wheelgap riding on 95 GSR's with 205/50 tires.
