New clutch and peddle is softer?
I replaced the clutch with an OEM kind, no street aftermarket type, just (supposed) factory one. The peddle is easier to push. In fact it is easier than my stock CX. I would think it would feel the same as what I replaced.
The car with the new clutch is the GSR motor and tranny in a 92 hatch.

depends on what kind of clutch. since ur car probally has a hydro clutch ,the tension on the spring of the clutch will determine the "softness" of the pedal. dont fret my friend, its sometimes nicer to have a softer clutch

Did you touch the clutch pedal while you had the slave cylinder hanging in the air? If so you need to bleed your clutch.

When I changed my clutch I got a very soft pedal also but this is from the clutch being brand new and not burnt in properly. Give it about 500 miles of city driving and constantly shifting before you start ripping on it because if you do it will end up like mine and get toasted quick. I can't even grab second at all now unless it is cold or snowing out because I burnt it in wrong so be careful.
