New to board got some questions??
Im new to the board so if my questions sound stupid im sorry... I found a 92 CX Hatch for a thousand bucks..its not in the best of shape , blue vinyl seats ripped, body needs some work, motor smokes like it needs valve guides , but overall it s not that bad all I want it for is the body anyways.. Im looking for something to start a hybrid project with and this seems like itll do the job.. The car is an american CX manufactured in Canada ..So from what I understand It has wiring For VTEC under the dash it just isnt connected to the engine But with a engine harness from a EX coupe or SI hatch the VTEC wiring will be plug and play or so ive heard???? Ive got a few questions about which swaps to perform Im gonna be limited to around a $4000 budget on doing the swap... So what should i go with I want the best i can get on my budget ...I would also like some info on the difficulty of various swaps... Some swaps Im considering are LS/ B16 /b18...any other ideas?? Im gonna be needing everything for the swap ECU,Tranny,Axles...ETC.... ANy help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated... Oh yeah by the way any links to sites where I can get some good info???
Thanks

Re: New to board got some questions?? (SLowCrx)
How much hp do yuo want?
B18B - 142 - $1900-$2200
B16A2 - 168 - $2000-$2400
B18C1 - 178 - $2400-$3400
B18C5 - 195 - $4500-$6200
With $4000, I'd get a B18C1 and stay stock and make a sleeper.
