NEVER buy a Civic Vx catalytic converter from Bosal!
Never do it! I purchased one from partsgeek.com and it arrived today on my birthday. It doesnt fit. I contacted Bosal, they said they are all made the same. The 4 studs that connect to the exhaust manifold are all equi-distant. Everyone who has ever had a Vx knows the back two studs are offset in.
So what I get it is a piece of crap $250 dollar part that doesn't fit, made by Bosal who sells a catalytic converter they "claim" is a direct fit for a 92-95 Civic Vx/Cx. It doesnt fit any Honda ever made!!!
I ****ed up and ordered from partsgeek so returning will cost me 20 dollars and I may never even see my money.
Do you guys think if I return it and go ahead and dispute the charge with the bank I will be okay?
Also I'd hate to start another thread, but do you guys know if I can just put on the cat/manifold assembly from a 96 civic and use a bung plug on the second o2 sensor? Will the backpressure be different/will the O2 sensor reading be off? I know it is a direct fit with mine already, I just worry I may lose MPG.

Bosal lists one for vin code EH2 (Vx,Cx USA) part No. BSL 099-249 but it isn't $250. It's more like $700. What's the part number on the one you bought? Sounds like they may have sent you a universal fit.
18160-P07-A00 from HondaPartsDeals.com is only $450.
