Why not buy some struts and do it right the first time? Some AGX's are only 350 or so.

Edit: 3000 posts, woot!

I have these springs and i love them. They have somewhat of a bounce to them but I love how teh car handles. I would however recomend rear upper or lower strut bar and you will be extremely impressed.

i have springs on OEM shocks, its loud and bouncy. Every change in the road is routed into your spine....not as bad as i thought, but still pretty bad

I had these on my hatch. Just like everone described with stock shocks they are bouncy.

Instead of the strut bar like J9D6M suggest pick up a set of AGXs; your ride will feel like night and day compared to stock shocks with those springs.

Oh...and yes they will fit.

i got these springs from my "car buddies" for my birthday last year. i was on a budget too and i got KYB-gr2's and it is def. bouncy. however for the price of the gr2's i have since found a set of AGX's brand new. i know everyone says dont use ebay but you can find respectable dealers on there. i have seen sets of AGX's for around 260-280

almost any springs you put on stock shocks are going to be bouncy

Yea, well then take advise from someone who has been down that path. Just save up for some struts. The o.e. will blow real quick and its going to suck. It's not going to be an 'upgrade' because when the struts go, your handling will go down and your tires will wear faster/uneven. Might as well cut the stock springs

neuspeed race springs for my crx were 600lbs.

600lbs on stock struts would not be fun.

but i'm sure you're just looking to "slam" your ride.

so good luck.

here's an older pic of my hatch on neuspeed race springs.

looks the same on stock shocks as illiminas. My stock shocks lasted 3-4 months with these springs.
Raised upper perches would help extend that time a lot.

NOTE: a lot of driveways and parkinglots are completely out of the question for me. Also parking pylons and curbs wold rip off my front bumper.
