need suggestions on turbo build
ok so I need to know what some people think about my build,
I have a 1996 honda Civic EX with a 97 GSR, skunk 2 manifold, blox 68mm tb, AEM fuel rail with AEM fuel pressure regulator, stock internals as far as i know, but the cam gears say pr3,b16?? not sure why. Pulling cams tomorrow to inspect them. Full Greddy Evo2 exhaust, header back.
So I have AMK ram horns, Garrett GT28rs, upgraded .82ar hotside, off brand 3inch down pipe, turbo RS bov, hondata s300, rc 550cc injectors, and walbro 255 fuel pump, blox sandwich plate for oil feed.
Im looking to do head gasket oem, and arp Head studs. Need ideas on Head gasket have a new stock one laying around.
Im looking to do around 10-12 psi, on stock internals.
edit: Does not burn any oil and good compression across
Also for the water feed, im just gonna use the one off the sk2 manifold output, just not sure where to run it back into the motor at. Any ideas,???? not taping radiator want to T back into somewhere.
Any ideas on build would help, starting next week and want to have everything ready. Thanks.

Re: need suggestions on turbo build
skunk2 manifolds r gargabe for turbo cars, thats an all motor manifold. u also have to ask yourself, "how much power do i want" before u go making rash decisions and blow money on **** u wont use. not a bad lookin motor btw

Re: need suggestions on turbo build
the manifold was a random and got for $50 with valve cover and fuel rail, i really dont care about power as long as it dont just blow up on my first pull, I would like to be somewhere around the 240-280 range with the setup.

Re: need suggestions on turbo build
well if it is a gsr in there cuz u mentioned it having b16 cams which idk WHY any1 would put b16 cams in a gsr motor, u should be able to meet your power goals on 10 lbs. that way u met your goals and wont boost the motor too much to blow it, or fry the rings in it

Yea im not sure why the cam gears say pr3(b16) im checking them out tomorrow to see if they are just cam gears or cams and all, not sure why any one would do that, you would lose power, not gain, but i lose to my friend who has same car but b16a2 with gsr cams and type R intake. only up to 80 after 80 i pull, could be trans tho, short gears for him, and im not gonna go over 10-12psi not sure yet. i mean im only doing head studs and head gasket

Honda used the same cam gears on different motors, just like they use the same head gasket on different vtec motors. I have like three sets of PR3 cam gears that were on GSR heads. It's fine, relax.
