need some suggestions with painting my headlights
I know some of you guys have painted your headlights, I would like some suggestions on what is the best way to do it. I have a heat gun, and I have the silicone sealant to close it up with. I want to paint them black, so I would like some suggestions as to which paint is the best to use, and what to do to the headlights to paint them. Thanks for your help.

From my experience, take your time. Use multiple thin coats so you don't get runs and make sure you get even coverage, because nothing sucks like noticing blank spots after sealing them back up. I just used some automotive paint, I guess any could do. Some others have recommended high temp paint, but they're the ones who used the 'oven' method to open the headlights. Also, if you plan on replacing the yellow reflector, get the clear ones and have them ready. I painted mine gunmetal grey, I may change it to a flat black and swap the reflector at the same time.

YOU should try a search before you tell someone to do one. The zeroforum search is not all one could wish for.
