Need some help for my home projects!!!
I am currently in school but when I go home in 2 days, I am going to do some work on the car. I need help with some of the instructions on how to do some stuff though.
1. I wanted to remove the door guard strip and paint it white to match my the car.
How do you take those things off?
What paint/paint method should I use to paint them?
2. I wanted to do the airplane stripper thing on my engine head.
How do you take the engine head off? Any hidden screws I should look out for or
anything I should guard my engine from while there's no cover on it?
3. I wanted to remove the stock wing.
Is there any way to shave the holes and make it look good without a body shop?
Well, i'm going to take my last final now, so I'll be on later to see what help you guys have. thanks

My assumption is you are referring to the molding, there are clips you must pop off in order to get to it, trying to remember, one of em has a screw on the inner fender liner holding it on too I think. Just use a good cleaner, got to get all of the wax, armor all off of it and you got to use a flexible part paint primer. Prime, and paint with paint gun which works best, but in your case using the body matching spray paint and spray clear made by duplicolor would work, can pick it up from AutoZone.
2. I wanted to do the airplane stripper thing on my engine head.

I hope you are talking about your valve cover. Take the wires and plugs out, and unbolt the screws, nothing hidden, but be sure to put a new gasket on it when you put it back together or it will leak. Airplane stripper will work, just use a high temp heat paint to paint it so it won't crack and flake off
3. I wanted to remove the stock wing.

Duck tape bout the only think I can think off

Yea, basicly I painted the valve cover before but I didn't do it the right way cause the paint started rippling. So I wanted to remove the old paint and do it the right way.
