Default Need some guidance selling Thermal R&D Exhaust

I have had two sets of exhaust systems in my garage for awhile now and am trying to sell them. They are a CL and Turbo system off a 2000 Civic. I currently have them on Craigslist but was wanting on some input on the best method to sell them and their approximate value. They were only used for a few months before the car was totaled. They have some scratches but are in otherwise very good condition. Anyone have any ideas?

What is happening in the world that these kinds of rudimentary common sense questions need to be asked on a public forum?
There is no "best method". Put them up wherever a potential buyer might look. You want to make a sale don't you? Put them up for about what you paid for them minus some market depreciation.

It isnt a common sense question. For it to be common sense, every common person would need to be fully aware of all marketplaces to sell not only auto parts but auto parts for a Honda Civic geared towards those building a high performance vehicle. That isnt even close to being common sense. It may be for you but when your interest and hobbis do not involve cars and auto parts, it is not. I was referred here by a couple of people as a good resource to obtain such information so that is what I am doing.

Yes, I want to make a sell and since I am selling an item I know little about, I am seeking information about where the best marketplace would be and what the approximate value would be. Rather than go about it blindly which would be the truly rudimentary act on my part, I am attempting to acquire more information and the best way to do so.

Maybe you don't get it. You post in every marketplace/venue you can get your hands on.
You don't know what to price it for? Check what others have sold/attempted to sell theirs for.
That would require a SEARCH.
Yes. Common sense is not so common. That much is painfully evident.

If you have spent time on the internet and sold things on the internet (I use to do it for a living), you would know that some marketplaces are better than others and some marketplaces just result in nothing more than getting spam from companies because the sites dont protect their users properly. A smart seller does market research and consults people more knowledgeable in the area which is what I am doing.

The best marketplaces may not come up in a search or be hundreds of pages deep. You seem to be under the impression that simply using Google or Bing is a better source than actually consulting subject matter experts. If I simply consulted Google when I needed to know something at work rather than consult those in my company with expertise in the area of my questions, I would be fired as most people would.

I have searched Google and I have looked around. However, common sense in my world is actually consulting human beings versus trusting a search engine algorithm which pulls of up sites, not based on their quality, but a number of other factors. This is not the reliable source I am looking for.

So, are you telling me my referral sources were wrong and this is not the correct place to find such information?

As far as price, I havent found any completed sales of these items online. I've only found new sales.

Oh shut up with trying to sound like some marketing expert.

You are going to tell me that you'd rather sit and try and calculate the one place you're most likely to get a sale rather than utilize all venues? Preposterous. Coverage. You want coverage. Craigslist. Ebay. Kijiji. Local papers. Any forum with a for sale section that allows you to post. Word of mouth. Use them.

And you also mean to tell me that you cannot use the information on the "new" sales to guide your setting of the price? Also preposterous.

And you know what? There no tech in this post. And this is a technical forum.
