I have a 92 hatch that did not come with a/c. I went to a junkyard today and got everything that i could think of. The condenser, fan, wire harness, all lines, dryer, and all bracketry under the hood. Now for the inside. I pulled the dash, and took the a/c controls and the clock. Once the dash was pulled i grabbed the blower motor box on the fatrthest passenger side, and the evaporator housing that is right next to it. I left the heater and duct assembly, the one in the middle. I COULD have gotten it, but the car was wredked in a way that the motor was pushed up against the firewall so that I could not get everything loose to remove the case.

Now what I need to know is if I am going to need that as well. Can the one that is in my car be used?

also...the wiring, what all do i need to do? I got the harness from where the condenser fan is all the way to the fire wall, and I cut it, because I was not pulling the enitire dash harness. I also got everything that was attached to the blower assy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in new orleans and it is so friggen hot right now, and the summer hasn't even started. Thanks

dont have that much advice for you accept get a helms manual and starting wiring that baby up.. i had an aftermarket a/c system put in my old 92 civic si cause when i bought the car they told me it had a/c already and it didnt so the dealer sent to off somewhere to have it up put in.. you have a big job on your hands good luck..
