Default Need some brake system info...

I have a 2000 Civic Hatch DX (d16y7)...and i just got an AEM big brake kit off my friends 2000 EX coupe that was wrecked pretty bad but the big brake kit was still in perfect shape (though the rotors might be warped, but its free so i can replace those)...what i need to know is what other brake componants do i need to take off the civic to install this setup on my hatch since the system was made for the civic EX...

Thanks in advance...

You need his entire knuckle, with the calipers. That's pretty much it.

So the master cylinder, dust shield, and studs are all ok to keep on there even though its a DX?

i'm not sure about the other things, but you will need to change the MC since the AEM's are Bigger

You will really need the whole braking system. So as was stated, the front knuckles/hubs, master cylinder, brake booster and prop valve.

Front calipers on the EX are quite a bit larger than those on lower model civs. Would be best to contact the dealer and check part numbers to see if they are the same/different.
