Need some advice for my dead civic
Im in a bit of a situation. I noticed I was having problems with my transmission or clutch because everytime I was shifting gears it would over rev and had trouble catching, on top of that my dumb *** hit a curb real bad the other night and I dont know exatlyu what happened but the tire was moved back a good amount and is pretty much stuck on the back sode of the wheel well. Its not driveable. I towed it to the honda dealership to see what all thye damage was and they ended up coming at me with abnout $4,000 dollars total to get everything going again. My problem is that I still owe 6,000 dollars on this car, so Im trying to figure out the best way to sell the car to make back as much money as I can on it. Seeling its parts individually or just trading it in as is and get a beater car. Anyways, I would just appreciate other people input and comments on the situation. BTW< the car is still young. Its a 97 civic EX withn a nice cypress green pearl paint, lowered and only has 89,000 miles on it. Thanks for takign time to read this,
Matt.

Re: Need some advice for my dead civic (djklacka)
Matt,
Sounds like the proverbial "rock and a hard place". Hopefully you have full coverage insurance...thats the only thing that will probably pull you out of this mess.
Of course if you have some mechanical skills you could probably get it fixed yourself. But all in all its guess work without a better description of the damage or perhaps a couple photos of the damage.
Best of luck.
EDIT oh yeah btw GO DUCKS!
