Need paint for touch up
Hi all,
I'm looking for information on how to get some paint for our 93 del Sol in samba green I believe. Are there any places online to order it?
Thanks,
sb

Hrm...
My ride is Vogue Silver Metallic, but...
I noticed that on that web site - VSM comes in NH583M-2 , NH583M-4, and NH583M-5.
Sup dat? Different shades? Different countries?

Well...
It would be a bish touching up your paint with the wrong "shade or metallic", no?!?!?
I noticed almost all of the (older) Honda colors are listed this way...

Aha!
This is probably why I've never seen VSM touch-up paint in a Pep Boys or whatever!
There's 3 different Vogue Silver Metallics...

The factory code is located in the lower right hand corner of your color tag. (The color tag is usually located on the drivers door jamb, but if you don't see it, take a look on the passenger side door jamb.) For example, the color below would be listed on our site as B-89P. When you select factory code A from the drop down list of factory codes on our site, the color code becomes B-89-A which is not the same color as B-89. For accurate colors, please enter this letter or number! If you do not see a factory code on your color tag, please use the 11th digit of your VIN.
Many Honda and Acura vehicles will not have a factory code. Again, enter the 11th digit of your VIN so we can properly formulate your paint. If you have a factory code and it does not match the 11th digit of your VIN, use the factory code on your color tag.
Please note!
On some color tags the factory designation is part of the color code. For example, if your paint code reads B-89P-3, then the -3 is your factory code and MUST be entered in the factory code box on the order form.</TD></TR></TABLE>
The 11th digit on my VIN is 'L', so that doesn't tell me jack!

Re: Need paint for touch up (Eran)
Door jam sticker says NH583M - Factory code/11th digit is 'L'. Hence, 'NH583M-L'.
The three choices are: NH583M-2 , NH583M-4, and NH583M-5

Then pick a different site like PaintScratch.com
http://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/makepaint2.cgi
What you have is original VSM, not a batch color. That's what 2, 4, and 5 are. They're second runs of the original batch.
And that didn't take an edit. I edited the 're: BlackDeuceCoupe' in so the OP didn't think I was talking to him.

Re: (Eran)
just get the number code off the driver side door jam and take the code to your local auto paint store and they will make and mix the paint for you! simple as that!
