Then you'll essentially only loose like what 50lbs? And that won't make much of a difference.
Might as well go ALL OUT or don't

how far you wanna go? is it a daily driver? is safety a priority for you and your passengers?
if not, removing front/rear bumper supports, running pass side airbag tray and non-airbag steering wheel are options, as well

remove your license plate frame
also check your car for non essential bolt.
the easiest way to determine if a bolt is essential is to start the car, and start removing bolts, if the car still runs the the bolt is not essential.

Re: (instrument)
removal of PS was one of the best mods ive done.
Nothing else really is going to do JACK for weight savings.
Remove the spare tire, and dont keep your car messy.
Lightweight wheels are more effective.
Otherwise leave it, and spend time researching engine dynamics, flow and combustion physics

Re: (03akkord5spd)
Yeah pretty much what every one has said. cf weighs about half of what stock steel parts weigh. so if you've already removed that a/c might as well remove the p/s if you have it. racing seats will take some weight off. how often do you use your back seat ? you could just remove the rear seat and throw some decent carpet down like the do the the cobra r mustangs. if you have a system take it out. if you have a passenger open the passenger door and turn left...hard (^_^). do you have aftermarket wheels on your car ? stock HX wheels are supposed to be light.

For real, your not going to really loose enough weight to make a big difference unless you make the interior of the car to pure sheet metal and loose everything Including the dash with still only weighs about 25 lbs. You can also get light weight engine components such as a tube style header and lightweight flywheel. Light wheels make the biggest difference in my opinion. Also you can get a smaller battery like a braile, and loose any unneccesary components under the hood..
Taking out the sound deadening back seats carpet and a/c stuff (not including under the dash) will only net about 30-40 lbs at best.

Re: (JunkyardAccord)
i know this sounds like a stupid question, but are you concerned with safety?
obviuosly you are buuut.
bumper supports weights are like 20-25lbs for the front and like 15-20lbs for the back.
in the trunk if you look behind the plastics you should have some reinforcements. Dremal them out of you car and you could save 10-20lbs
Door reinforcement weight about 15 a pop
P/S if you dont use it anyway take it all out! save a couple of lbs there.
some seats will do you good

Re: Need to lighten up the EH9 (SirRevvs)
the LX and DX sedans are 25lbs lighter then the Si
BUT my ex is 220lbs heavier then the Si
so it needs a diet.

I wouldn't touch the bumper supports if its a daily driver car. he's talking about his GF bitching, I know mine would tear me a new *** if she found out my car was a rolling death trap.

Dump your audio, *Blockoff plates for the stereo and antenna can be found easily*
Dump the rear seats
Dump aftermarket rims (Unless they are light, but typically any rim thats less than $1000 for a set of 4 will be a good 5-8lbs HEAVIER than any stock honda rim) and loosing rotational mass will help your acceleration as well.
