Default Need info on A6 exhaust mani to Si exhaust on a 92 CX (stock)

My girls 92 Civic CX (Canadian, was there a 92 US CX model?) is so plugged up atm that it cant hardly breath, plus there is a nasty funk coming through the cab and suit blowing on the ground. I am guessing Cat-pipe and/or O2 sensor. Now, what I want to do is to put my 89 Si manifold on her block and run it into a 92 Si cat-pipe and then thru her Thermal cat-back. I AM lazy and havent visualized/held the parts up to see if I will have to get custom pipe to make up the difference. What I want to know is has anyone ever done this? I know it sounds lame but why waste money on a catpipe for this canadian model cx when the manifold wont transfer to the B series? Any ideas?

Correction!
In Canada, the CX and DX came with the D15B7. I know. I have one. (Yeah! ) The only major mechanical difference between the two was that the DX was available with automatic, and power steering, while the CX was not.

i said "the CX is a US model too" ... also saying "too" meaning yeh it's both Canadian and US made them models.. unless you meant to correct him, then oh well, beat you to it i guess i didnt go into THAT much DEPTH as you.

Bolted up perfectly! Gotta love the interchangeability of Honda parts!

Thanks for all who set me straight.

Admit it, it's your CX! don't be ashamed! I own one too. And that manifold should bolt right up.
