Re: Need Info (Civic4doors)
1. go to http://www.carpoint.com
2. Then go to "resaerch used cars"
3. Pick "honda civic"
4. Pick your year
5. Choose "engines and specifications"
This site will tell you everything about your car. IF there was a recall, it will tell you, and also all the technical specs, like dimensions, power, trannys colors...etc.

Re: Need Info (Civic4doors)
here's some good charts I found:
http://raceseek.com/honda_specs.htm
http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/s...inespecs1.html
http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/specs.htm
it's a D16Y7. Non-Vtec, single cam. I'm interested too. I have a 99 LX
Looks like it's basically a D16Y8 with a non-vtec head. You could do a Y8 head swap for a cheap-ish upgrade. otherwise save your pennies for a full swap. that little engines only putting out 104 hp. Although I find mine rather peppy.
