Hi guys I have a 95 civic. I swapped a 92 motor in there. it's a d15b7.
the 95 had the map sensor on the TB and the 92 had it on the firewall and it ran to the ecu I cut it at the firewall. I took it off the 92 and now I just need someone to guide me kn where I can cross those wires. I'm using the 92 engine harness. Colors for the map sensor are yellow-green all green and all white.

Are you using the 92 or 95 ECU?

95 ecu. I was looking at the 95 map sensor wires from left to right and it's red/yellow white/green and all white. I found those colors on the harness connected to the car. I was just ganna cross them at that point. The 92 is yellogreen. Green and all white.
I was going to cross yellow-green to red yellow. Green to white green. And conceCT both all white ones.

ECU pin numbers for MAP sensor input and sensor ground are switched between 92 and 95.


On the 92:
MAP sensor's Yel/Grn wire connected to Yel/Grn harness wire at ECU pin D19 (Reference voltage)
MAP sensor's Grn/Blu wire connected to Grn/Blu harness wire at ECU pin D21 (MAP sensor input)
MAP sensor's Wht wire connected to Wht harness wire at ECU pin D17 (Sensor ground)

On the 95:
MAP sensor's Yel/Red wire connected to Yel/Grn harness wire at ECU pin D19 (Reference voltage)
MAP sensor's Grn/Wht wire connected to Grn/Blu harness wire at ECU pin D21 (Sensor ground)
MAP sensor's Wht wire connected to Pink/Wht harness wire at ECU pin D17 (MAP sensor input)

So which ones do i cross. I don't know anything about electrical stuff.

For both 92 and 95 the MAP sensor wires run through Connector C103, a 14-P connector on the right side of the engine (near the car battery and air intake tube).

Can you post some pictures of the engine harness connectors on the right side of the engine compartment?

1.In your post #9 photo, are both male and female sides of the harness connectors wiring from a 92 Civic?

2. I could not see clearly from either the video and the one photo of all the wires I am looking for.

In this screen shot from your video, terminal no. 6 is the Yel/Grn reference voltage wire for the MAP sensor. In the same row (between orange lines) are the other wires for the MAP sensor.

Can you take a clear photo of the connector which at least show those wires?

Reuse the '95 engine harness and throttlebody to make your life easier.

Or should I just swap over the 95 engine harness on over with the throttle body??

Option 1 or 2:

1. Reuse the '95 engine harness and throttlebody as mentioned by 94EG8.
or
2. On the '92 Civic harness side:
- connect the '92 MAP sensor Grn/Blu wire to terminal no. 5 where it mates to the '95 Pink/Wht wire (MAP sensor input to ECU).
- connect the '92 MAP sensor Wht wire to terminal no. 4 where it mates to the '95 Grn/Blu wire (sensor ground).

'92 MAP sensor Yel/Grn same as '95 Yel Grn at terminal no. 6

This photo looks to be the '95 Civic harness side. You would connect the MAP wires on the '92 harness side.
