Need help with SRS light and clutch
Does anyone know if there’s any way to diagnose the SRS without having to go to the dealer, my SRS light came on like 4 weeks ago, so I searched around in the forums and I found how to reset it, so I did it and it worked on the first try but it just came back on last week, so I wanna know what’s wrong and how to fix it, also I crashed like 3 months ago and the airbags did not deploy, I didn’t think that there was anything wrong with the SRS unit since the light wasn’t on back then, I just figured that they didn’t deploy because I was going at like 35 mph and I actually managed to slow down so the actual impact happened at like 25 mph.
Also my car is making this weird ticking noise, I first thought it was the valves but I just realized that if I press the clutch pedal, even a little bit (like 10% of its travel) the ticking would stop, does anyone knows what that means, the clutch works fine, it’s not slipping and it feels okay.
Thanks guys I really appreciate your help.
BTW. My car is a 95 del sol, if that matters.

Oh, one thing i forgot to add, the ticking/rattling noise is loudest when the car its at or near idle, it seems to get progresively quieter at higher RPMs.

you might have tripped a sensor which would cause for your light to come on. go to your dealership. they are suppose to look at and repair all safety equipment for free i hear
