Need help on my type-r swap into 97hx.
OK I did a 97 type-r into my 97hx. Car runs good but I am geting some codes. Any one that could help me out. Would be nice. I am useing a 98 USDM p73 ecu. I am trying to get the car to pass PA OBD2 plug test. Thing I did are ckf bypass, FTP bypass. The car only had a EVAP purge solenoid on the intake nothing els.
I had to get a EVAP canister with purg and the by pass solenoid at the tank with FTP. I wired ever thing up to were is needed to go but I am still geting code P1457 and p0133. I know what they are but I cant seam to get rid of them. Just looking to see If I am missing any thing. Thanks for your time Wolfy

No only 2 and I did the 7wire to 4 wire and there are no leak's. What sensor tells there is a leak???? There all purge solenoid and the only sensor that I see is a FTP but I trick that with a resister. Thanks Wolfy

p1457=EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)
I guess the system goes off of pressure or something. Do you guys have emissions testing in PA? We do in Maryland and all you have to do to get waived is slam the hell out of your car so they cant bring it over the rollers at the testing station. Convert to OBD1 if at all possible. Its so much easier

there should be a purge solenoid on the intake manifold and one on the canister. As for the o2, try another one and see what happens. Also go back over everything you did

It Is a plug in for pa and the gas cap test for the emissions. And going to OBD1 will not work it will fail.
