if you just did a dash swap then it could be any of the wires you saw while doing it. One could be pinched or grounding out on something. Whats the edeal with the defrost and cruise?? This is one of those tedious jobs, you have to find the wire thats malfunctioning.

i dont know!!! I had grey interior in my EH and i put "pimp" black interior. Every plug under the dash will not plug into anyother plug under the dash. I even labeled all of the wires? I really don't know and i wish someone would have the answer to why my dizzy is shorting out! It shorts out every time i plug in my stock tach!!! HELP

You my friend is screwed, might as well take your whole dash apart again and figure out which wire you messed up on.

Theres really no other way, you have to find the wire thats crossed. Start with the tach wires and follow them down looking for a cut wire or something in that effect.
