Default need help, my 93 cx isnt running right

hey i have a 93 civic cx hatch .

the car sounds like it lost power in the motor and when i drive it the car doesnt accelerate at all, it used to sounds a lot different when i reved and when i drove it, when i floor it the car just gets loud and it doesnt go, i have no idea what is going on, the car used to run like 3 months ago fine except it smoked from the exhaust then i put coilovers on the car and it sat on cinderblocks for like 3 months cause im lazy and didnt get a chance to put the suspension together , but i used to start it all the time, then when i put the suspension and wheels i go to drive it today and it doesnt run right at all and like i said before when i drive it it gets loud like the rpms are going up but the car doesnt accelerate , help me pleeeeeeease

I was having the same problem after a while when i bought my 92 si and found out it was the tranny. The bearing (sp*) was bad and I lost a **** load of power. If your spittin smoke (mine was doing that too), your piston rings are probably bad. Mine are and im in the middle of swapping in a new engine, cause its too much hassel to dig deep into the motor. If thats the case, i say, get a new motor, but get a d16z VTEC. Itll fall right in (should anyway)
