Default Need Help Im doing a swapp from sohc to dohc sir

So I bought a sir long block and had it re sleeved ported with gsr turbo pistons 8.5:1 comp. new rods berrings turbo rings crank ect ect. the head is a B16A2 head with Gsr cams duel springs stainless valves new guides and titanium retaners. I bought everything new from the clutch to the water pump timing belt cam gears underdrive pulleys and a light weight flywheel. all the internals are straight. but what kind of Distributer can I use this motor came out of a 99 civic and is going into a 97 -98 body. and can I use my v-tec sylonoide off of my HX Block which is a sohc D16Y8??? I have bought all but 2 distributers from auto zone the 2 I havent bought and returned are both special orders and they wont take them back. I picked up an obd-2 Dist. off of a Gsr from a junk yard and it didnt fit the mounting holes are seperated diffrently. am I just being retarded and any B series dist. will fit or does it take a special one?? My boy that I got the block from put the dist that was on there on a type R head on his ls Vtec I just cant figure this out. how drastic is it to install and tune an afc Vtec controlle from Apexi?? any help with these matters would greatly help for I need my ride back Im having withdrawls I have been with out it for almost a month and a half now. thank you all in advance.
