Need help identifiying springs -- are they for the front or back?

Need help identifiying springs -- are they for the front or back?
got a guy that has 2 lowering springs he wants to sell me, but he is not sure if they are for the front or the back, is there an easy way to determine if they are for the front or the back?

Front springs usually have more coils and are a little bit longer. I have the H&R springs. They have 9 coils on the front and 7 coils on the rear.
