Need help finding design specifications for Ignition Coil
I am in need of design specifications for the ignition coil of 90s Civics(my car is a 93 Del Sol).
Specifically, I am looking for perhaps the number of coils on the primary and secondary coil, or at least the coil ratio.
Also, I am not certain if they are considered inductors in the automotive world but if they are, is there somewhere I can find the inductance values?
Has anyone come across any data/spec sheets that can help me? I need these values to model the ignition circuit from an engineer's perspective. I could not find the actual specs on any of the OEM websites that I have looked at.

Re: Need help finding design specifications for Ignition Coil
this is all i could find in my manual
Rated voltage 12v
Resistance at 20degrees C(68F)
Primary winding 0.6- 0.8 OHMs
Secondary winding 12.8 - 19.2 kOHMs
hope this helps cause im not really sure what your asking for

Re: Need help finding design specifications for Ignition Coil
I was looking for the inductance, units of Henries, of the coil or the number of turns in the coils so that I could understand the physics theory behind them. I haven't found them anywhere because they are not really that important to a mechanic or technician, so I think I'm just going to go with general values common to most vehicles.
This website has some of the theory that probably better explains what I was looking for.

No problem though. Thanks anyways!
