do you have a test light? The fuses have two tabs on each side where you can stick the sharp end of the test light and touch it. Make sure the switch is on and turn the lights on, touch both sides of the fuse with the test light and see if the light comes on, if one side doesn't come on there's your problem. And don't forget to connect the wire end of the test light to a ground or it won't work.

yes it does sound like a fuse or it could be the wiring but always check the fuses before the wiring. Wiring doesn't go bad that often unless someone has been in there and done crap. Get a test light, they are very cheap and a couple of bucks will get ya one, also have you used one before?

ok when you look at the fuse, the blade type fuses are a lot easier to tell if they go bad. The round type can go bad at the ends so it's sometimes hard to visually see if it's bad or not. Fortuneatly everything today is blade type, although I don't like the mini blade near as much as the regular ones. If you look at the fuse where the amp rating is where is says 10,15,20,25,30 whatever it says, on each side of that are the tabs where you can stick a test light into. If you plan on doing any kind of electrical work they really come in handy. Also I thought the fuse you should be looking for is a 15 amp, thats what most of them are. But pull one out look at it and put it back if it's good then pull another. Also if you have a fuse puller it makes it a lot easier getting them out.

I'm going to go outside and get my cover and look at it and I'll brb. Mine is a 97 hx so the location is more than likely different but the sizes will be the same. The "z" part in the middle of the fuse is where it burns out.

ok does your license light work? On my cover it lists the tail and license light together on a 7.5 amp fuse, running lights is a 10 amp, and 7.5 for turn signals. I guess I thought 15 because most vehicles have more features on one fuse. Honda really divides it up, hence the smaller size fuses. You didn't tape up the radio wires? Well they would def. short something out if left bare.

does your horn work? under the hood next to the battery on mine is a black plastic box. It has a bunch of fuses and relays. It lists the horn and stop on a 15 amp fuse. Those should be listed on your cover.
