need help with ej6 wiring

Default need help with ej6 wiring

cant find where this plug goes AT ALL.

recently replaced bearings in my motor and pulled the dash to paint while i was at it, put it back together and cant find a single place for this plug to go... car will not start now, cranks but wont run, sometimes it puffs and farts but nothin...

97 civic sedan CDM
98 B18C5 itr engine pretty stock

You need better pictures and number and color of wiring in the plug, a picture of the face of the plug would help a lot theres a lot of stuff over in that area as far as fuse box, relays etc

Isn't that the OBD port? Hard to tell.

Sorry i was in a hurry when i took the pic, ill get better ones soon, i got under there and the plug seemed to be coming off of the same tube as another plug heading into the back of te fuse box, there is no where on the front of the fusebox for it to go into.

We're still waiting on better pictures, but from what you've given us, it does look like the diagnostic port.

as marc said its the OBD2 Port good eye =o) pics are blurry but anyone with an ek should know

Okay cool, where does it plug into if anywhere? And would it effect my motor problems in any way?

It doesn't plug in anywhere. It just clips onto or is mounted in some fashion under the dash where it can be easily accessed by a scanner.

Next time label everything you touch when you start tearing your car apart. Pictures would be good too.
